Hey Y’all. I am a Southern Belle born and raised in the Midwest. (insert laugh here). I am detail-oriented and have the ability to find the solutions before a problem arises. I am a lover of Jesus and Coffee. I’m pretty sure that October is the best month of the year. A woman can never have too many mugs or tubes of red lipstick. I enjoy writing poetry, watching romance movies and listening to books through the Libby App.

Wedding and Event Planning has been a childhood dream that became a reality when I planned my Mother's Birthday Party. In college, I helped plan our first Statewide Fashion Show Competition and our first women’s conference. I also launched Runway Club which was a fashion-based group for fashion majors.

With over 10 years of event planning experience and specific focus on weddings within the last 5 years Love & Luxury Events is my daily reminder that dreams do come true if you decide to do the work. I will do the work for my clients. I will treat each wedding or special event as if it were my own. My method for successful events is Create to Celebrate.

When I am not planning weddings and events, I enjoy spending time traveling, blogging, finding new dad jokes and trying out new coffee shops!

Our team takes pride in providing each client with trust, respect, honor, kindness, patience, knowledge and upbeat personalities. We are the experts. Simply put, we care.

My name is Jamie Foy, I was born in Indianapolis, IN with southern roots of John's Island, South Carolina. I have been an event planner for more than 10 years and I never cease to amaze myself in the ability to create an amazing experience that no one can forget.

I fell in love with events during my college years at Vincennes University. As a sophomore I was elected Vice President of the Black Student Association, then serving as President for 2 more years. In that role I was the director and point of contact for several major events per semester, each event totaling 50 to over 100 guests. It was at that time that I realized my gift of great leadership and creativity over events. I fell in love with the smiles, the laughs, and breathtaking moments that I could create for people in just a few short hours. I knew then this was a gift worth exploring.

Each wedding I have directed has been the most exhilarating experience. From creation, to planning, emotional ups and downs, and to the altar. It is my duty to anticipate the unexpected, the hardships, and ease the minds of my clients. After all this is not just a wedding, but the absolute best day of one's life. During your planning process it is my goal to not only serve your needs, but to also be the executor in the best time you've ever had.
